When you delete your account, we immediately begin the deletion process. Most personal data is deleted within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer where required by law (e.g., financial transaction records for 7 years).

Children's Privacy

Age restrictions and protections

TradePro is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@tradepro.com and we will delete it promptly.

During registration, we collect date of birth to verify that users meet the minimum age requirement. We use identity verification services to confirm age where required by local regulations. Accounts found to belong to minors will be immediately suspended and all data deleted.

How we notify you of updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make significant changes, we will:

Send an email notification to your registered email address at least 30 days before changes take effect

Common questions answered clearly

Does TradePro sell my personal data?

Absolutely not. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes. Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve TradePro services.

Can I see all the data TradePro has about me?

Yes. You can request a complete export of all your personal data at any time from your account settings under Privacy → Export My Data. We will provide a machine-readable file within 30 days.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

When you delete your account, we begin deleting your personal data within 30 days. Some data (like transaction records) must be retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations. We will clearly communicate what is retained and why.

Is my trading data used to train AI models?

No, not without your explicit consent. Our AI models are trained on anonymized, aggregated market data. Your individual trading history is only used to personalize your own experience, not to train shared models.

How do I opt out of marketing emails?

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any email, or by going to Account Settings → Notifications → Marketing. Note that transactional emails (trade confirmations, security alerts) cannot be disabled.

Is TradePro GDPR compliant?

Yes. TradePro is fully compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We have appointed a Data Protection Officer and maintain detailed records of all data processing activities.

How do I report a privacy concern or data breach?

If you believe your privacy has been violated or you suspect a data breach, please contact our security team immediately at security@tradepro.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate within 24 hours.

Does TradePro use my location data?

We collect approximate location data (derived from IP address) for security purposes, such as detecting unusual login locations. We do not track your precise GPS location unless you explicitly grant permission for location-based features.
