Acceptance of Terms

Your agreement with TradePro

By creating an account, accessing, or using TradePro in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms applicable to specific services you use.

If you are using TradePro on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organization.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination.

One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain only one individual TradePro account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans is strictly prohibited.

To comply with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, you must complete identity verification (KYC) before accessing trading features. We may request additional documentation at any time.

Account Activity

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it. TradePro is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access due to your failure to secure your credentials.

Trading on margin amplifies both potential gains and losses. A small adverse price movement can result in losses exceeding your initial deposit. Margin calls may require you to deposit additional funds immediately.

Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, speculative assets not backed by any government. Their value can drop to zero. Regulatory changes may significantly impact cryptocurrency markets.

Liquidity Risk

Some assets may be difficult to sell quickly at a fair price, especially during market stress. You may be unable to exit a position when desired.

Technology Risk

Financial Data Usage Policy

How we handle your financial information

TradePro collects and processes financial data to provide our services. By using TradePro, you grant us a limited license to process your financial data as described below:

Transaction Processing

We process your trade orders, deposits, and withdrawals to execute your instructions and maintain accurate account records.

Portfolio Analytics

We analyze your portfolio composition and performance to provide personalized insights, risk assessments, and AI-powered recommendations.

Regulatory Reporting

We may be required to report certain transactions to financial regulators, tax authorities, or law enforcement as required by applicable law.

Aggregate Research

We use anonymized, aggregated trading data to improve our platform and market analysis tools. Individual data is never identifiable in this research.

Third-Party Sale

We never sell your individual financial data to third parties for their commercial purposes.

Unauthorized Sharing

We never share your financial data with unauthorized parties or use it for purposes beyond those disclosed in our Privacy Policy.

API Usage Terms

Rules for developers using our API

Access to TradePro's API is subject to these additional terms. By using our API, you agree to comply with all applicable rate limits, usage policies, and security requirements.

Rate Limits

Free tier: 100 requests/min. Pro: 1,000 requests/min. Enterprise: Custom. Exceeding limits will result in temporary throttling.

Authentication

All API requests must include a valid API key in the Authorization header. Keys must be kept confidential and rotated regularly.

Permitted Use

API access is granted for building applications that enhance the trading experience. Reselling raw market data or building competing products is prohibited.

Data Attribution

Applications using TradePro data must display appropriate attribution. Market data may not be redistributed without a separate data licensing agreement.

Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Annual plans receive a 20% discount. Your billing date is set on the day you first subscribe.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and bank transfers for Enterprise plans. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You will receive a reminder email 7 days before renewal. You can cancel at any time to prevent renewal.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

Refunds & Cancellation

Our fair refund policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with TradePro Pro within the first 30 days of your first subscription, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until then.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are available within 30 days of initial purchase for new subscribers. Renewals are not eligible for refunds unless required by applicable law. Annual plan refunds are prorated.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution.

Non-Refundable Items

One-time purchases, data exports, and API overage charges are non-refundable. Trading losses are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.

Intellectual Property

Ownership of platform content and technology

TradePro and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the platform, including but not limited to software, algorithms, AI models, designs, trademarks, and content. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights.

  • Your personal trading data and history

Prohibited Activities

What you must never do on TradePro

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination, potential legal action, and reporting to relevant authorities:

Market Manipulation

Wash trading, spoofing, layering, or any activity designed to artificially influence asset prices.

Insider Trading

Trading based on material non-public information in violation of securities laws.

Money Laundering

Using TradePro to conceal the origins of illegally obtained funds.

Account Sharing

Sharing account access with others or operating accounts on behalf of undisclosed third parties.

Automated Abuse

Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access TradePro beyond permitted API usage.

Platform Attacks

Attempting to hack, DDoS, or otherwise compromise TradePro's systems or other users' accounts.

False Identity

Impersonating another person, providing false KYC documents, or creating fraudulent accounts.

Sanctions Violations

Using TradePro from sanctioned countries or on behalf of sanctioned individuals or entities.

TradePro maintains industry-leading security standards. Both TradePro and you have security obligations under these Terms.

TP TradePro's Obligations

  • Maintain AES-256 encryption for all stored data
  • Conduct quarterly penetration testing
  • Maintain SOC 2 Type II certification
  • Notify users of breaches within 72 hours
  • Maintain 99.9% platform uptime SLA
  • Provide 24/7 security monitoring

You Your Obligations

  • Use a strong, unique password for your account
  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
  • Never share your login credentials
  • Log out from shared or public devices
  • Report suspicious activity immediately
  • Keep your contact information current

Limitation of Liability

The extent of TradePro's legal responsibility

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRADEPRO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

Trading Losses

TradePro is not liable for any financial losses resulting from your trading decisions, market movements, or reliance on information provided on the platform.

Service Interruptions

TradePro is not liable for losses resulting from platform downtime, technical failures, or inability to execute trades during system outages.

Third-Party Actions

TradePro is not liable for the actions of third-party service providers, exchanges, or other entities whose services are integrated into the platform.

Maximum Liability Cap

In all cases, TradePro's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to TradePro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

TradePro integrates with third-party services to provide certain features. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Real-time and historical market data is sourced from licensed data providers. Data accuracy is subject to their service levels.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making payments, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

KYC verification is performed by Jumio. Identity documents are processed according to Jumio's privacy policy.

TradePro runs on AWS infrastructure. Service availability may be affected by AWS outages beyond our control.

TradePro is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party services. Links to third-party websites do not constitute endorsement.

Account Termination

When and how accounts can be terminated

You May Terminate

Close your account at any time from Account Settings
All personal data deleted within 30 days (subject to legal retention requirements)
Open positions must be closed before account deletion
Outstanding balances must be withdrawn before closure

TradePro May Terminate

Violation of these Terms or our policies
Fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity
Failure to complete required KYC verification
Inactivity for more than 24 consecutive months

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, binding arbitration under AAA rules in San Francisco, CA.

Class Action Waiver

You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against TradePro.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

Terms FAQ

Common questions about our Terms

Can I use TradePro if I'm not a US resident?

Yes, TradePro is available in most countries worldwide. However, certain features may be restricted based on your jurisdiction. Users from sanctioned countries (as designated by OFAC) are not permitted to use TradePro. Check our supported countries list for details.

What happens to my open positions if my account is terminated?

If TradePro terminates your account for policy violations, we will close all open positions at current market prices and return remaining funds to your verified payment method within 5–10 business days, minus any applicable fees.

Can I transfer my TradePro account to someone else?

No. TradePro accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, transfer, or assign your account or any rights under these Terms to any other person or entity.

Are these Terms the same for all users?

The core Terms apply to all users. Enterprise customers may have additional terms in their separate Enterprise Agreement. In case of conflict, the Enterprise Agreement takes precedence for Enterprise customers.

What if I disagree with a change to the Terms?

If you disagree with updated Terms, you must stop using TradePro and may close your account. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. We always provide 30 days' notice before material changes take effect.

How do I report a Terms violation by another user?

Report violations to abuse@tradepro.com with as much detail as possible. We investigate all reports seriously and take appropriate action, which may include account suspension or termination and reporting to law enforcement.
